Introduction

We are delighted to announce the opening of Abstract Submissions for the ANNUAL MEETING PERNEFRI 2025 !
The committee warmly invites medical students, general practitioners, residents, and specialists to submit their research abstracts for review and selection. Accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to be featured in one of the following categories: Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. Before submitting, please make sure to review the Abstract Submission Guidelines thoroughly to ensure compliance with all requirements. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will not be considered. We look forward to your valuable contributions and seeing the latest developments in nephrology and hypertension research showcased at this prestigious event.

General Provisions

1. The types of articles accepted include Case Reports, Evidence-Based Case Reports (EBCRs), original articles, systematic reviews, or meta- analyses.
2. Manuscripts must be free of plagiarism and original.
3. Manuscripts should be typed using standard Indonesian language according to the guidelines of the Indonesian Language Council.
4. The use of materials protected by Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) or patents is prohibited unless permission is obtained.
5. The top three participants in the research category will be selected and included in the Young Investigation Award (YIA), which will be judged during the designated oral presentation session to determine the first, second, and third place winners.
6. Participants in the research category who do not qualify for the YIA selection will be selected as 10 finalists to present their papers in the oral presentation session, and first, second, and third place winners will be chosen.
7. Participants in the research category not included in points 5 and 6, as well as the Case Report category, will create posters and will not have an oral presentation session, but will be directly selected as first, second, and third place winners.
8. The decision of the jury is final and cannot be protested

Mandatory Provisions

1. All participants of the scientific competition must be registered as participants of ANNUAL MEETING PERNEFRI 2025 with proof in the form of a photo or scan of the registration receipt sent to the committee's email at ilmiah.konkerpitpernefri25@gmail.com along with the submission of the abstract and complete paper (prioritized for assessment).
2. The deadline for the submission of abstracts and complete papers is August 25, 2025, at 00:00.
3. A participation certificate for the scientific event will be provided once the participant has submitted the abstract, complete paper, and e- poster.
4. The maximum length of the complete paper for the scientific competition is 3000 words (maximum 10 pages).
5. All participants of the scientific competition must provide consent for their paper to be included in the scientific book of ANNUAL MEETING PERNEFRI 2025 with an ISBN or INA-Kidney or other related Pernefri scientific books/journals.

Abstract Provisions

1. The abstract consists of 1 page
2. The abstract should be written on A4 paper and formatted with typing margins: left 4 cm, right 3 cm, top 3 cm, and bottom 3 cm.
3. The abstract begins with the title of the scientific paper, followed by the name of the primary author, then the second and third authors, followed by the related division, medical faculty, and affiliated university. The title of the scientific paper is written in Times New Roman font size 12, and the author names are written in bold using Times New Roman font size 10. The maximum number of co-authors is 9. Co-authors' names, divisions, faculties, and universities are written in Times New Roman font size 10. The spacing at the beginning of this abstract section is 1.
4. The content of the abstract for research results should include an introduction, method, results, discussion (IMRAD), conclusion, and keywords. The abstract content for case reports should include an introduction, case illustration, discussion, conclusion, and keywords. The content should be written in Times New Roman font size 10 with single spacing. Titles for each section should be bold. The abstract content should not exceed 300 words.

Poster Provisions

1. The categories for the poster competition are: Research and Case Reports.
2. Posters must be designed in PDF or PPT file format.
3. Designs should be colorful and attractive, with no restrictions on the number of colors used. Images should be high resolution, and the poster size should be AO.
4. Attaching paper or similar materials to the poster is not allowed.
5. The poster must include the participant's name, university or institution, and region of origin (District, Province).
6. Posters should be displayed using double-sided tape; the use of sharp objects (thumbtacks, staples, etc.) to attach posters is prohibited.
7. The size requirements for the poster can be found on the website.

Complete Paper Provisions

1. The complete paper is to be written separately from the abstract and should comprise 6-10 pages. Page numbers are to be placed in the top right corner of each page.
2. Complete papers should be written on A4 paper, adhering to the following margin specifications: left margin 4 cm, right margin 3 cm, top margin 3 cm, bottom margin 3 cm.
3. The content of the complete paper for research results should encompass Introduction, Research Methodology, Operational Definitions, Data Analysis, Research Findings, Discussion, and Conclusion. For case reports, the content should include Introduction, Case Illustration, Discussion, and Conclusion.
4. The content of the complete paper is to be written in Times New Roman font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. Subsection titles should be in bold.
5. In-text citations in the complete paper should appear at the end of each sentence in each paragraph.
6. Figure titles in the complete paper should be positioned below the figures, centered, in Times New Roman font size 10, with single spacing, and bolded.
7. Table titles in the complete paper should be located above the tables, in Times New Roman font size 10, and bolded. Tables should only use horizontal boundary lines, without vertical boundary lines. The table headers should be in capital letters, in Times New Roman font size 10, and bolded. The body of the table should use font size 10.
8. At the end of the complete paper, a reference list should be compiled using the Vancouver system. The reference list should be in Times New Roman font size with single spacing.
